Patriots
I'm sending you this because it isn't often we hear just how much what we do means to those we do it for. Thank you all so much for honoring our fallen heroes and giving comfort to there families. It is my hope that this letter gives you the strength to carry on this very important mission. It has been my honor and privilege to have stood flag lines and to have ridden escorts with you.
Curtis Lyons
Hello, my name is Penny Ewy-Clark. I am the sister to 2nd Lt. Jered Ewy. On behalf of my father, John Ewy, an the rest of the family, I would like to thank you—all of you—the men, the women, those who had children with them—all of you. Words cannot express what my heart felt that day. The only thing I can compare it to is you were the soldiers for the family…you protected us, lifted us up, honored Jered, and renewed my entire family’s sense of pride in American people. So often today we get so bogged down with traffic jams, scam artists, crime, politics, unemployment, and many other negative issues. When death came to our door, it was the most low moment of our lives. And, even though Jered is missed so very much, we know that what he was doing was for all of us. He told me that he felt like he could make a difference over there. He wanted nothing more than to help the people and the children. Jered was a humble, loving, man filled with honor and integrity. I know my little brother—when he looked down and saw all of your Patriot Guards around us like an eagle’s wings covering its young, he was glorified. He probably wouldn’t say he was a hero because he was so selfless, but I know he is. He did make a difference after all to all of us. My most sincere appreciation for your love, support, and care. Thank you for loving our soldiers so much that you protect those they leave here. Like I said, you are the wings of an eagle protecting the young from harm. Please, please pass on to the others how grateful we are.
With deepest gratitude and love,
Penny Ewy-Clark

They have not set a date on when the 12M upgrades will be processed. They will likely be processed in blocks due to the logistics of filling positions vacated from the movement. Filling an AMT slot can cause movement in the OSM,A/C Cleaner,Parts Washer, and Building cleaner positions. The company is planning to hire AMT's and try to have start dates for them by mid-August. Prior to the new employees arriving all 12M's for that position will have to be exhausted.
