Dear Brothers and Sisters:
We have just been notified that the Union did not sustain the Flex Vacation Grievance.
I encourage every member to read the arbitrators decision and response by TWU International AA System Coordinator David Virella.
We are very disappointed in the arbitrators decision. This decision does not recognize the fact that members of Locals 514 and 567 do not share in the Day Trade or C/S Policies available to the rest of the American Airlines Locals. In addition, we are aware that LUS has Shift Swap, Compensatory Time and ten (10) Holidays available to them in their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
WE commit to you that we will use all resources within our power to remedy this inequity.
