We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and to promoting the health and well-being of our employees, visitors, and contractors.

The TUL Tobacco Free Campus policy applies to everyone who works at or visits American’s Tulsa Campus, which includes:

  • Tulsa Maintenance and Engineering Base
  • Wheel & Brake Center (WBC)
  • Composite and Repair Center (CRC)
  • Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)
  • Hangar 80
  • Reading Building (Volvo facility)
  • The 169 Warehouse

Tobacco use is not permitted:

  • At any aircraft maintenance hangar, dock or shop (inside or outside)
  • At any building (inside or outside)
  • On any aircraft, aircraft ramp area
  • In Company vehicles or in the Company parking lot

All forms of tobacco – including chewing and electronic cigarettes – fall under this policy. They are not to be used in any areas where tobacco use is prohibited.

Employees who choose to use tobacco must do so on their regularly scheduled breaks or meal periods.
While failure to comply with the TUL Tobacco Free Campus Policy may result in corrective action, the primary objective of the Tulsa Tobacco Free Campus Policy is to provide a healthy work environment for all of our employees.
