The passing of Retired Sister Lynne Oliver

We are saddened to share with you the passing of retired Sister Lynne Oliver on November 10, 2021.

Lynne had retired from American Airlines as an Aviation Maintenance Technician back in 2013. Lynne had been working here in Tulsa since 1996.

Obituary

Lynne Kathleen Oliver passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the age of 64 years. She was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1957, to Melvin Gale and Joan (Ziegler) Rauscher in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. Lynne grew up in Mansfield, Pennsylvania until moving to Coffeyville, Kansas. As a teenager, Lynne worked at the family bowling alley. She graduated from Field McKinley High School in 1976. Lynne began working at Cessna, then Beechcraft, and finally Boeing. She moved to Tulsa in 1983, where she met her dear Kenneth Stanley Oliver, Jr. Lynne and Ken were married on Friday, March 1, 1985, in Tulsa. Lynne work at Rockwell McDonnel Douglass. She began working at American in 1996. Lynne retired in 2012. She was a Master Gardener through the OSU program. Lynne enjoyed gardening, playing softball and traveled as much as she could. Her life’s goal was to be a Beach Bum. Lynne was known as an old hippie at heart. She was giving, loved to serve and taking care of her sister who has M.S and her grandchildren. Lynne was an active member of Home Church in Broken Arrow.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Joan Rauscher; husband, Ken Oliver; son-in-law, Derek Chaffin; and grandson, Matthew Jackson. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Tammy Endicott and her wife, Radonna Jackson, of Ramona, and Kathleen Pundsack and her husband, Tony, of Norman; grandchildren Jacqueline Vaughan of Ramona, David Moore of Ramona, Audrey Pundsack of Norman, Walter Pundsack of Norman, Nathaniel Pundsack of Norman and Alexander Pundsack of Norman; brothers Douglas Rauscher and his wife, Ann, of Florida, and Robert Rauscher and his wife, Carol, of Washington; sister Gayle Pierson of Coffeyville, Kansas; as well as other extended family and a lifetime of friends. Lynne will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
