It is with a deeply saddened heart that we share with you the passing of retired Sister Erma Ryder on August 1st, 2024.
Erma had started working with us here at American Airlines in 1996 as a building cleaner, and retired from the position of Overhaul Support Mechanic in 2013.

We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2024, at the age of 76, Erma Ryder of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Boley, Oklahoma passed away.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Erma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Erma’s spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Marzett and Lillian Marzett (Patterson).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Add’Vantage Funeral Service (9761 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74146). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
