The Passing of Retired Brother Jerial Williamson

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of retired Brother Robert Jerial Williamson on February 8th, 2025 at the age of 100 years old.

Robert started working with American Airlines in 1966 as a Machinist and retired in 1988.

Obituary for Jerial Williamson

Robert “Jerial” Williamson was born on June 23, 1924 in Keota, Oklahoma. He was the son of Robert Franklin Williamson and Dollie P. (Martin) Williamson. He passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 100 years old.

Jerial graduated high school in 1942, then joined the Army, serving our country in World War II. Following the War, he married the love of his life, Frances J. Fletcher, on December 31, 1945. They were blessed with one daughter, Barbara.

He was a wonderful provider for his family, working for American Airlines as a machinist until his retirement in 1988. Jerial loved to fish and hunt when he was younger and as he got older, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and many friends, including 38 trips to Europe and 67 cruises. When he wasn’t traveling around the world you could find him working in his garden and enjoying the outdoors. Jerial also loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed sharing stories of the many places he had traveled. He was blessed to have a fantastic memory which allowed him to remember the most amazing details which brought his stories to life. He celebrated his 100th birthday last summer and enjoyed the day celebrating with family and friends and sharing stories.

Jerial was a faithful Christian, attending Broken Arrow Church of Christ since 1948. He is now rejoicing with his savior. He had a life well lived and will be missed by all those that knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Jarrard; granddaughter, Nicole Westhoff and husband, Joe Westhoff; step-grandson, Tony Jarrard and wife, Rhonda Jarrard; great-grandsons, Kyle Westhoff and Sean Westhoff; many step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerial was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dollie Williamson; and his wife of 71 years, Frances Williamson.
