Todd Arthur Wyrick Sr. was born on January 5, 1963, in Cavite, Philippines to Jim and Willa Charlene (Cadenhead) Wyrick and left this world on March 3, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was an exceptional individual whose life was shaped by a spirit of service, dedication to family, and a passion for many pursuits, both personal and professional. Todd’s career was characterized by his work with American Airlines, where he served as an airline mechanic until his retirement. Following this chapter, he joined the Osage Casino, where he contributed his skills in both security and maintenance, showcasing his versatility and work ethic. Growing up in Sperry, Todd graduated with the class of 1981. He excelled in sports and garnered recognition for his talents in football, basketball, and baseball. The accolades he received included a scouting opportunity from Oklahoma University; however, he chose a path of service and enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country for six years where he worked on helicopters. He could tell you what kind of helicopter was flying over before you even see it. While in the Army Todd received numerous awards, ribbons and badges. On June 1, 2002, Todd married Kitsy Kennedy Nix in Skiatook, Oklahoma, and they built their home together, creating a foundation of love and support. Todd was a beloved husband, father, and friend, known for his warmth and ability to connect with others. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. In addition to his professional endeavors, Todd had a diverse array of hobbies and interests. He thoroughly enjoyed playing golf and had a particular talent for restoring old fans from the 1930s and 1940s. His resourcefulness and hands-on approach to life led many to say that there was nothing Todd couldn’t do or fix.

Todd is survived by his wife, Kitsy, of the home; his two children, Candice Charlene Lewis and her husband Jacob, and Todd Arthur Wyrick Jr. (TJ); two brothers, Jim Allen Wyrick and Travis Austin Wyrick; six grandchildren; as well as two bonus kids, Corey Kennedy and her husband Craig, and Clint Morrison and his wife Crystal. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will remember him fondly for his generosity, humor, and enduring spirit.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jim and Willa Charlene (Cadenhead) Wyrick.

Todd Arthur Wyrick Sr. will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his contributions to his family, community, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

The family of Todd Wyrick entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
