It is with profound regret that we announce the passing of our brother, Nathan Shipman, who left us far too soon on August 20th, 2025. Brother Shipman was a dedicated and proud member of Transport Workers Union Local 514.
Nathan began his career with American Airlines in 2024 as a cleaner, but his hard work and dedication quickly earned him an upgrade to Overhaul Support Mechanic in just six short months.
His passion for his craft and his commitment to excellence were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Born on January 4th, 1981, Nathan was a talented and vibrant individual who touched the lives of
everyone he met. His passing leaves a void in our union family that can never be filled.
We offer our deepest condolences to Brother Shipman’s loved ones, friends, and colleagues during
this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of his life, his laughter, and his unwavering spirit.
Rest in peace, Brother Nathan. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
