The Passing of Retired Brother Jim Blouch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired Brother Jim Blouch on September 9th, 2025.

Jim dedicated his life and career to serving our union, American Airlines, and the community. He began his journey with us in 1985 as a Material Logistics Specialist, and after 31 years of service, he retired in 2016.

Throughout his career, Jim took on various roles within the union, including Sergeant at Arms – Steward, where he was deeply involved in our labor efforts. Jim was also the Democratic Chair for the Rogers County Election Board and participated in the Northeast Oklahoma Labor Council. His dedication to our union and its members was unwavering, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We will remember Jim’s tireless commitment to our union and its members. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the sacrifices he made for our collective good.

We offer our condolences to Jim’s loved ones during this difficult time.
