It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Mike “Bear” Massey, on July 9th, 2026.
Mike began his journey with American Airlines in 1990 as an Aviation Maintenance Technician and quickly rose through the ranks. He became a Crew Chief AMT and later advanced to his final role as an NDT Inspector.
Throughout his career, Mike demonstrated unwavering dedication, expertise, and a strong commitment to his work, family and friends. His contributions will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
As we mourn the loss of our brother, we take comfort in the memories we shared with him and the impact he had on our lives. We ask that you join us in keeping Mike “Bear” Massey’s memory alive in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest in peace, Bear. Your legacy will live on through our brotherhood.”
