Association Update

During the week of October 19, 2026, the TechOps Association Main Negotiating Committee met in Phoenix, Arizona, to continue its comprehensive review and discussion of the proposals submitted by the various subcommittees.

Throughout the week, the committee dedicated significant time to carefully evaluating the information and recommendations that have been developed through the subcommittee process. Productive discussions were held on a number of important topics, and the committee continues to make meaningful progress as it works through the details necessary in advance of negotiations. While there is still work to be done, the committee remains encouraged by the progress made thus far and is committed to maintaining forward momentum.

The Main Negotiating Committee will continue meeting in the weeks ahead with a singular focus: securing the strongest possible agreement for our members and their families. Every proposal and discussion is being evaluated with the goal of improving wages, benefits, job security, and quality of life for the hardworking men and women we represent.

Your continued support, engagement, and solidarity remain invaluable throughout this process. Please know that your committee is working tirelessly on your behalf and remains fully committed to achieving a contract that reflects the skill, professionalism, and contributions of our membership.

We appreciate your continued trust and support as we move forward together in preparation for negotiations. Updates will be provided as negotiations progress.

In Solidarity,

The TWU – IAM Techops Association Negotiations Committee
