Dear Sisters and Brothers:
The TWU/IAM Association Negotiation Committee for M&R, MCT, MLS, and MTS convened in Charlotte (CLT) at IAM Local 1725/1903M on April 2, 3, and 4, 2024.
The Committee clarified and created new language based on your proposals for Articles 18 and 19 of the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreements (JCBAs) in the first two days. On day three, MTS representatives from MIA and DFW worked with the Committee on proposals significant to their classification.
The Committee will continue to meet each week in April to enhance the existing JCBAs and develop new language. This aggressive schedule ensures that we are prepared with comprehensive and concise proposals for Section 6 negotiations with American Airlines.
Once again, we extend our gratitude for your solidarity as we undertake the necessary steps to prepare for negotiations for new JCBAs. Your unwavering support is appreciated and crucial for the Negotiation Committee’s success in achieving its objectives in the upcoming weeks and months.
