C.O.P.E. Convention Summary – 2012

At the 2012 C.O.P.E. Convention delegates voted to endorse two candidates in congressional races, six candidates in the Oklahoma Senate race, and 21 candidates in the Oklahoma House of Representatives race. Fourteen of the total 29 candidates selected to be endorsed are incumbents, meaning they already hold the seat for which they are running again.

Congressional

Rob Wallace (D) – CD 2
Has a primary runoff and will face the winner of the Republican primary runoff as well as an Independent for the Congressional seat.

Tom Guild (D) – CD 5
No primary opponent and will be running against James Lankford (R) the incumbent and two other opponents in the November general election.
