Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:

We have a new code in TMA now, thanks mainly to our past TWU 514 president Sam Cirri, the code is “Contractor rework” and should be used anytime you repair anything that was not installed correctly by a contractor or breaks during the warranty and AA mechanics have to repair or replace it, this will help track the amount of time AA mechanics are using our resources to repair sub-standard contractor installation.

I know everyone is curious about the current negotiations going on and what part FMG plays in it, I wish I had answers for you however I do not, I’m not directly involved in those talks and I will have to wait just as you do, I have faith in our union to include ALL groups and return soon with an industry-leading contract we can all be proud of, until then I will pass on any information I receive.

  • Current headcount 320
  • Headcount on LOA 11
  • Actual headcount 309

I had a dream last night that I was eating the world’s biggest marshmallow and woke up with a soggy pillow this morning, I wonder if there’s any correlation?

Please have a safe and Happy Labor Day weekend, and as always feel free to contact me at any time.
