There are a few items I would like to report out to you.
TWU/IAM Association
- I spent last week setting down with the IAM in final preparations for our first meeting with American Airlines on December 3rd. I will be attending this meeting along with local 514 representatives Jason Best, Pat Bax, Dale Lantz and David Corbit.
Pre-funding

TASEL Shutdown – RIF
- First round is completed, accepted decline window has closed. We do anticipate a second round and the company has not come forward with any further information. Executive Board member, David Corbit has attended several meeting and expressed our position.
The founding father of our union Michael J. Quill believed we should organize the highest paid jobs and the entry level jobs, then through true trade unionism promote from within giving each member the opportunity to learn new trades and advance themselves for the benefit of them and their family.
