The passage of the new Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Law is effective February 1, 2014.
This means that if you have an injury of any sort or damage now compensable under the present Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Law, you should get it on file before February 1, or you may be forced to handle your claim under the new system and possibly be barred from making any claim at all.
All injuries or damage claims, such as hearing, or wear and tear on knees, elbows, backs, wrists, etc., should be filed promptly – and certainly before the February 1, 2014 deadline. Tell your relatives, friends, neighbors, etc.
