We have learned today that the NMB is requesting additional information to enable them to determine class and craft issues for representational purposes. An example of this would be the IAM under LUS CBA represents Planners/Schedulers and Legacy American Airlines Planners/Schedulers are considered Non-Union positions.
I have had discussions with the Air Transport Division of the TWU today, they have informed me that they will continue to work with the NMB to help resolve these issues.

I have also received a letter requesting a meeting between the TWU and the IAM Presidents or their designees for a final effort to resolve outstanding issues.
