We are staffing the Union Hall (not the Office Building) with Shirt Distribution Specialist for the the next three days.
They will be there from 07:30 to 16:30 for the next 3 days, (3/22-23-24/2011)
We are requesting that ALL TWU514 members wear the new shirt on April 4.
On April 4, 2011, the TWU will join the entire labor movement and our allies in a mass mobilization to make a public and workplace show of support for union rights for all workers.
On April 4, the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s death, we will stand together across the country for the same human rights and human dignity for working men and women that Dr. King was fighting for in Memphis 43 years ago when he led the sanitation workers’ strike.
We will stand with union members and unorganized workers, and we will stand with a wide array of ally organizations who come to this fight unified around beating back the assault on the middle class.
