It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Clarence Pittman, who left us on March 31st, 2026.
Clarence dedicated nearly four decades of his career to American Airlines, joining our team in 1988 as a Material Logistics Specialist. In 2006, he took on the additional role of Crew Chief, Material Logistics Specialist, bringing his expertise and leadership to our operations.
Throughout his time with us, Clarence was a valued member of our union and a respected colleague. His commitment to our work and his dedication to his fellow employees will not be forgotten.
We ask that you keep the Pittman family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love and support of family, friends, and our union community.
