It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our longtime member and Brother, Patrick Weber, on June 11, 2026.
Patrick was a dedicated member of the American Airlines team for three decades. He began his career with us in 1996 as an Overhaul Support Mechanic and, through his hard work and skill, was promoted to Aviation Maintenance Technician in 1999. His contributions to our craft and his camaraderie within the union will be deeply missed.

Obituary for Patrick Jacob Weber
Patrick Jacob Weber, 64, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, was born on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri. After a courageous 2 ½ year battle with glioblastoma, he passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Herman House in Sperry, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of his family.
Patrick cherished his family above all else. He was a devoted husband and father, and a caring son and brother. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures – his cars, a round of golf, a game of pool, and working on the homestead that he and his wife purchased a few years before his diagnosis.
Patrick spent his childhood and youth in University City, a suburb of St. Louis, where he attended Christ the King Catholic School and Christian Brothers College (CBC) High School. He graduated from South County Technical High School in 1982.
In 1987, Patrick met the love of his life, Connie Marie Weber (née Schuenemeyer), and they were married in the spring of 1988. Shortly after their marriage, Patrick began his studies in Aircraft Maintenance Management at Parks College, a division of Saint Louis University. During those years, he and Connie made their home in Richmond Heights, Missouri, where their two children, Whitney and Jacob, were born. Patrick graduated from Parks College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, specializing in Aircraft Maintenance Management.
After working in the aircraft maintenance industry in St. Louis and Chicago, Patrick and his family relocated to Owasso, Oklahoma, where he joined the American Airlines Maintenance Base in 1996. He remained there throughout his career and took great pride in his work.
He began his career with American as an Overhaul Support Mechanic and, through his hard work and skill, was promoted to Aviation Maintenance Technician in 1999. During his 30 years with American Airlines, he held many roles and became highly respected for his knowledge and expertise. He was a loyal and dedicated employee with an exceptional work ethic. His performance awards and recommendations consistently recognized his exceptional skill, dedication, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. He truly loved his work and being a part of the American Airlines team.
More than anything, Patrick will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his quiet strength, and his simple, steady presence that anchored his family.
Patrick is survived by his daughter, Whitney Marie Hancock and husband, Matthew, of Collinsville, Oklahoma; his son, Jacob Andrew Weber of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sisters, Kris Osburn of Llano, Texas, Karen Zimmermann of St. Louis, Missouri, Kelly Park and husband, Nathaniel, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Kara Chiumento and husband, John, of Peachtree City, Georgia; and his brother, Tom Weber of St. Louis, Missouri.
He is also survived by his three beloved grandchildren, Rylan Matthew Hancock, Hudson Brett Hancock, and Hallie Marie Hancock; ten nieces and nephews, Laura Erickson, Elizabeth Osburn, Erin Christopher, Clayton Zimmermann, Mary Dow, Becky Zimmermann, Ellen Park, Christopher Chiumento, Paige Chiumento, and Ethan Chiumento; eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Evan Erickson, Andrew Erickson, Nicholas Erickson, Henry Christopher, Grace Garza, Reece Martinez, Sofia Martinez, and Frederick Dow; and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Joshua, Zayda, Malaki, and Ezekiel Garza.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert Bernard Weber and Jane Ann Weber; his sister, Kim Pecher, and her husband, Jim; his niece, Caroline Park; and his great-nephew, Hayden Christopher.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, followed by lunch at First United Methodist Church, 13800 E. 106th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.
