It is with regret that we announce the passing of our retired brother, Brian Zinter, on February 5, 2026. Brian was a dedicated member of our American Airlines family, serving as an Aviation Maintenance Technician from 1985 until 1991, when he took on the role of Inspector – a position he held with distinction until his retirement in 2020.
During his 35-year career, Brother Zinter demonstrated unwavering commitment to his work and his union brothers and sisters. His expertise, guidance, and camaraderie will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
We ask that you keep Brian’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of his life and legacy.
Rest in peace, Brother Zinter. Your contributions to our Union and American Airlines will not be forgotten.
