Today marks the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The TWU honors the sacrifices made by Cabin Crews, Passengers, First Responders and all the innocent victims who perished that day.
The TWU also celebrates all of our members who played a significant role in the following months selflessly assisting with response, transportation, rescue, recovery and clean up at Ground Zero. We mourn those who have died from illnesses sustained while working at Ground Zero, and the many who continue to suffer and succumb to Ground Zero-related illnesses nearly two decades later.
The TWU will continue to remember the tragedy of 9/11. We promise to never forget, especially our union family members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
