This week in brief

TWU-ATD-Danker

Legacy US Air 757’s:

The company has just released information that Legacy US Air 757’s that were to be outsourced to an MRO in Alabama will be worked here in Tulsa. I am told that this work will begin in November 2016 and run thru October 2017, although the schedule may change I am told that there will be a total of 12 visits. The company does not expect any increase in headcount for this work.

737’s

Bids are being posted for  an new “B” Check line for our 737’s, this is being handled as a Shop to Shop Transfer. This is per article 46 and within the one station set. We have been told that it will require 28 AMT’s and 2 Crew Chiefs.

Association

We continue to make progress on work rules. This past week we worked on “Hours of Work” and “Training”. We also passed “Severance Pay”.

Last week I was in DC and  had the opportunity to meet with TWU International President, Harry Lombardo. He is very engaged as to the details of where we are at, and what is on the horizon. I expect to hear more details as to his plans for our direction in Negotiations soon (Stay Tuned).

Everyone! I am not pleased that we are not closer to the resolution of these negotiations.

I will be at the table again Monday, May 23rd to continue to fight on your behalf.
