Local 514’s Women’s Committee met on Tuesday, May 24. They would like to invite YOU to their next meeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in TWU’s Executive Board conference room at 2:30 PM. The Committee will discuss making items for Veteran Women and learning to crochet and knit by Veterans Day.
They will also set up a movie date at the Union Hall in the near future with a showing of the “Iron Jaw Angels”. Refreshments will be served.
The third item on the agenda is the September 17th Komen’s Race for the Cure of Breast Cancer.
The last item will be to line up guest speakers to attend future Womens Committee meetings with dignitaries such as Oklahoma Representative Anastatia Pittman from the OKC area and Jabar Shumake from the Tulsa area. Your attendance and input to the committee would be greatly appreciated.
