The 30 day appeals window opened on September 23, 2013 and will close on October 23, 2013. All appeals on both the Equity Distribution and Health Insurance will need to be postmarked by October 23, 2013 to be considered as a timely appeal. Anyone filing an appeal should send the appeal by certified mail with return receipt requested. Failure to follow the procedures and time limits set forth in the Policy will result in a waiver of a claimant’s right to file an appeal or to have an appeal reviewed by an Appeals Panel.
Please review all documents received concerning the equity eligibility for accuracy and file a “timely” appeal, if needed, with the TWU Equity Distribution Appeals Committee.
Information about Letters concerning eligibility for the 757 Heavy “C” portion of the Equity distribution will be mailed to eligible members at the end of the this month posted as it becomes available.
