There have been many communications about the letters received at home concerning the Termination of your Transamerica Short Term Disability Policy.
These letters are to the members that have opted out of the Transamerican policy and transfered over to the Standard Short Term Disability Policy last year.
Last year when we changed companies, anyone with Transamerica was automatically rolled over to the Standard, Transamerica is actually sending this letter out a year too late. Unless the member actually withdrew from the STD plan, they are covered and the deduction will show under TWU VOL Benefits on their pay stub.

Transamerica: Call the number on the letter you received.
