Pat Kinnamon
Chairman of Maintenance

Brother’s and Sister’s.

I want to update our membership on Two items at Tulsa Base.
First
I Want to say Great Job to the Paint Crew’s at Tulsa Base and Extra Kudos to the 737 Paint Crew’s, All inclusive of the Blackman Airplane, Halo Paint and C-Check’s. The Corporate Appearance Manager has told Mark Ehnen our Tech Crew Chief of Paint,  The aircraft coming out of Tulsa looks Great!!!
Thanks for your hard work and Professionalism.
Second
The 737 Interior Oasis Mods to be performed on our current Fleets.
The 737 Fleet is divided into 5 Blocks with the Max being Block 5 and the oldest being Block 1. This is a complete interior Mod Converting the entire Fleet with exception of Block 1, to match the interior design of the 737 MAX.Block 2 will require structural modification to support the overhead bins.  Block 3&4 does not require the extensive additional structural modification as required by group 2. Fuselage dimensions of the 737-800 or (NG) New Generation is identical to the MAX. There will be Two additional rows of seats installed. The class divider will be removed, the galley is reduced by 5 inches and the aft lavatories are redesigned to allow the aft seat in the cabin to be recessed into the lav wall.  Reworked sidewalls, overhead bins, new life raft box and new seats will be installed.
I want to thank everyone involved in the first acceptance of the MAX, and although there were numerous paperwork issue’s, these issue’s are in process to be corrected.
In Solidarity,
Pat Kinnamon
