Time to show your professional side

Can you demonstrate that your REQUIRED TRAINING is CURRENT? Review GPM 19.01. All M&E personnel shall receive the training necessary to ensure that they are competent, as defined by CFR 121.367, to perform the work to which they are assigned in a safe, effective, and efficient manner in accordance with AA and FAA requirements. M&E required training courses are those that are required by State, Federal, or American Airlines requirements. These courses should be completed no later than the date indicated. Employees are responsible for ensuring that their own required training is accomplished. The first-level Supervisor and Crew Chief are responsible for notifying and coordinating with Training to ensure employees under their direct supervision are scheduled for training. Status of your required training can be review directly from your Jetnet Maintenance & Engineering website Training page. (GPM)

With the assistance of Tulsa Supply in preparation for the upcoming FAA audit, Self Audit Program would like to encourage everyone to make sure that your areas comply with GPM 12-06, Shelf Life Requirements. All product that are questionable please return them to your local tool crib for disposal, ASAP, no question asked.

NO CHEMICALS ARE ALLOWED IN TOOL BOXES.

All shops or docks, which use shelf life products, are required to have a Chemical Coordinator. Please get to know and support your Chemical Coordinator. Supervisors and Chemical Coordinators make sure that the inventory, which is kept in shops/docks, is properly stored and serviceable. Please make this task part of your daily assignment. Just for the record, the only approved shelf life label is the original, green AA label, and shelf life must be not be expired. (Pedro Mari, Tech Crew Chief of Self Audit)

If an FAA Inspector asks what the GPM is and how to access it, would you know?
