No update as of the time of this posting. I understand that we are still in discussions.
AAERO:
Currently the engine shop is getting 3 to 4 engines inducted per week with the expectation to have 28 engines in work by the end of February. The company is working through challenges to ensure there is adequate tooling to support the operation.
HOC 5/6:
Approximately 90 additional heads at the next crew change, mostly new hire employees. Please help our new members settle into their new work environment.

Grievances:
Pay attention to Time Limits when turning in Grievances. Make sure your Grievant knows to bring the blue copy BACK in to work with them if the Grievance is mailed to their home.
Pay attention to amfa organizers (TWU members) on base. Be ready to give truthful answers to questions from our new members. Some are confused as to what is going on and are being made to feel that they have to sign the cards amfa is handing out.

Quill Scholarship
Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Michael J. Quill Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will offer fifteen (15) college-bound dependents of TWU members with a scholarship worth $4800.00. This scholarship will be paid out, per year in the amount of $1200.00 to winners who continue to be eligible over their four (4) year course.
Super Bowl “LIV” Party at the Local 514 Union Hall.
It will take place February 2, 2020 starting at 5:00pm.
