It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy L. Swafford of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends.

Roy had started working here in Tulsa back in 1997 as an Overhaul Support Mechanic and retired in 2013.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Toby Swafford and Leota Swafford of Sand Springs; and his brother Ray Swafford. He is survived by : his children, Stacy Rogers (Randy), Lori Shadwick (Jerry) and James Swafford (Marla); his sister Lawauna Swafford; his grandchildren, Halee Swafford, Austin Shadwick, Chance Shadwick, Ashley Collins, Caleb Swafford and Makenzie Swafford; and his nephews, Chris, Mark and Nathan Swafford. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1st 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2nd 2022 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
