Local 514’s Digest for the week of September 20, 2024

President:

All,

This week we reached a tentative agreement (TA) with American Airlines on an economic extension for the contracts covering the M&R, MCT, MLS and MTS groups. Please review the Association update and attached pay charts here.

In the upcoming days and weeks we will put out information on meeting dates to discuss the following details: pay charts, voting, pay increase start dates if it is voted in and future raises as well as new amenable dates.

It has been a very fast paced process to get to this TA and I want to thank everyone for their patience over the past few months.

Yes I’m available at 918-636-6089 but at this time I would like to ask that you hold your questions about the TA until we can schedule the meetings.

Thank you,

Dale Danker

Chairman of Maintenance:

I attended the 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Orlando this week .The National Safety Council hosts this event, which represents a significant opportunity for professional growth and networking within the safety field.

During the expo, I explored various resources and benefits. I enhanced my expertise through safety training, tools, and professional insights. I spent time walking through the Technology Pavillion. There is a lot of impressive educational information about risk prevention and new safety technologies.

Attending this conference will provide valuable insights and connections to enhance our safety strategies and promote a safer workplace.
