Local 514’s Digest for the week of September 27, 2024

President:

The TWU/IAM Negotiation committee is putting together a schedule to do station visit meetings to discuss the economic extensions and to answer questions from the floor. The plan in Tulsa is to have the meetings on the base Thursday October the 3rd for day and afternoon shift and Friday October 4th for midnight shift.

Please review the latest Association letter here and make sure your email and mailing address is correct.

In the upcoming days please watch for a video to be released by the committee with more information regarding the economic extension as well as the separate open issues we worked to resolve during the past weeks.

This week I traveled to Dallas for the IEC TWU International meeting. At this meeting the Executive board and I were honored to receive a plaque in recognition of TWU Local 514’s 75th anniversary. Although the anniversary occurred in 2021 the International Officers are trying to catch up with recognizing Locals after the reduced travel restrictions that were in place during COVID.

Left to Right:
Rollie Reaves, Curtis Tate, Andre Sutton, Jerome Lafragola, Mike Mayes, Don McCormick, George Albano, Joe Brown, Dale Danker, Jay Potter Daron Morgan, Gene Chapin, Tracy Hardin, BJ Rackers and Terry Buck
