President:
I have visited via phone with TWU International Rep Rollie Reaves several times this week. We continue to discuss how we can resolve some of the top contractual issues. To that point, Rollie has worked with his counterpart at the IAM to establish quarterly meetings to discuss top issues. Marla and I will travel to Phoenix AZ, January 7-8 for that initial meeting. That meeting will then be followed up with a meeting on January 22-23 at American Airlines HDQ with their labor team to find solutions to these issues. If there is no solution, then they will be slated for mediation or arbitration. It is recognized by the Union and The company that the current grievance process does not produce results in a timely manner. Rollie is pushing hard to get this resolved.
The 514 Retirement Committee will meet with Fidelity Reps on December 5th to address questions and concerns for those who are either in the process of retiring or considering retirement in the immediate future. We will have information out to you before the termination date of the service contract with The Advancement Group on December 31, 2024.
I hope everyone enjoys a few days off next week. Happy Thanksgiving!!
As always, I can be reached 24/7 at 918-636-6089. If you have any questions or would like me to visit in your work area, please feel free to reach out to me.
Take care

Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:
This week, I’ve been meeting with the new senior manager of FMG; I have also been tracking several jobs that the contractors have done that should still be under warranty that our team has been repairing by orders of management, in the hopes to expose the wastefulness of spending.
We have been tracking the headcount to be replaced this seems in itself to be a full-time job.
And finally, we are still working on grievances.
- Budgeted headcount 316
- Headcount on LOA 11
- Actual headcount 304
Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

HGR 5/6
- 9FF is going forward with the new Bid Unit of 263 being mainly involved in 777/787 Heavy, Special Visit and Drop-Ins. Bid Unit 257 will be mainly involved in the 737 Heavy Checks on 5C/5D

Community Service
· Operation Bikes for Kids – TWU514 is a proud sponsor for the last 3 years. This organization distributes bikes throughout the Tulsa Area Communities by supplying the bikes to Charitable organizations, including the following:
- Marines Toys for Tots
- Salvation Army
- Owasso Community Resources
- Family and Children Services
- And numerous other local charities.
Last year, we donated 130 bicycles out of the total of 1061 donated, and we were the second largest donor for the organization.
This year’s goal is to hit 1300 due to increased demand with families struggling. We have an internal goal of 170 from our membership. Collection Buckets have been distributed throughout the Base and Offsites located in the MLS Tool Cribs. You can also donate at the Union Hall or feel free to bring a new bicycle and drop it off there as well. Please donate and help with this cause. The membership approved up to $5000 of matching funds. The 170 bicycles would cost approximately $9300.
We will assemble the bicycles at the Union Hall from Dec 4th through Dec 9th and Deliver them for the Kickoff event on December 10th at 10 AM.
Contact BJ Rackers, George Albano, Daron Morgan, or me if you’re interested in helping.
