It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague, Melinda Maeurer-McGee, who left us on November 28th, 2025.
Melinda joined American Airlines in 2007 as an aircraft cleaner and quickly made a name for herself as a dedicated and hardworking individual. Over the years, she continued to grow professionally, earning her role as a Maintenance Support Person in 2012.
Throughout her time with our team, Melinda was known for her kindness, compassion, and commitment to excellence. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Melinda’s loved ones during this difficult time. May she rest in peace, and may her legacy live on through the countless lives she touched while serving with American Airlines.
Rest in peace, Melinda. You will be missed.
