It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, John Mahan, who left us on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 81.
John served as an Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector at American Airlines from 1967 until his retirement in 2006. His dedication to his work and his passion for aviation will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with John’s family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the knowledge that John lived a full and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to those around him.
Rest in peace, Brother John. Your memory will be cherished by us all.
Arrangements are as follows:
A public viewing will be held on Friday, December 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family will be present to receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at Johnson Funeral Home in Sperry, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Sperry, Oklahoma, with a family lunch immediately following the service.
