Management shakeup,
- Manager Tim Russell moved to CRO from Hgr 5.
- Manager Tera Odell moved to Hgr 6 from CRO
- Sr. Manager Jay Varvera moving over to Hgr 5/6 from CRO
Ed meeting stated that the company needs spots for two 737 lines.
John Hillman stated HGR 5/6 to get a 787 line but gave up a 737 line. (doesn’t make any sense on the needs and not adding more head count.) John Hollihan to follow up with Ed as to Why we aren’t adding head count/replacing a 737 line.
HGR 5/6
SAFETY – We have become complacent and not paying attention to our surroundings. Please take the time and be observant.
Below is a list of the injuries in both Hangars for the last month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Similar injuries in Hgr 1/2/3:
- Electrocuted pushing in breaker in 737 E&E.
- Could not duplicate the issue. Wearing gloves is a possible preventative.
- Smashed finger while using a torque wrench that slipped off. Better Support while applying the torque.
- Pristine Class discussed this and similar ways to have a stronger base.
- Strained lower extremities by slipping on fluids on the floor.
- Need to be aware of surroundings and clean up spills whether you made them or not to protect yourself and others.
- Taking a shortcut underneath Stairs, head injury/concussion
- Stay observant of where you are walking and stick to the normal walkways.
- Hydraulic fluid sprayed in the face while disconnecting a hydraulic line.
- Know your job tasks and safety requirements. Read the Task card which would have the 3 Hydraulic systems depressurized before starting the job.
- Fell in the cabin with removed and loose floorboards through the Frame structures.
- Situational awareness, knowing your surroundings and taking your time.

- Turkey and Ham Drives – Waiting for numbers donated versus needed.
- Angel Tree – George Albano waiting for their contact to establish on base.
*Tulsa Technology Center – AMT Competition sponsorship – Met on 9/9 and discussed Sponsorship and Co-branding moving forward.
