The self-demotion window will open on March 15, 2014 and close on March 30, 2014 for all M&R and MLS Crew Chiefs. If you wish to self-demote during this window you must fill out an AOI and give a copy to J.J. in the “white house” at the window by the computers and attendance office. If no one is at the window or it is after hours time stamp the AOI and leave it in the white lock box. (DO NOT GIVE THE AOI TO YOUR SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER).
Please make a copy for you records and turn one into the grievance office.
Following this window, the jobs to be vacated by the self-demotion process will be posted using the on-line tool for bid and award on a local basis. If you have any further questions please refer to Article (12) twelve, paragraph N of M&R and MLS Agreements. You will not be allowed to self-demote until a qualified M&R or MLS bidder has qualified for the position.
