Dear Brothers and Sisters,
A question has been brought to our Election Committee about the solicitation of voting ballots from other members. The ballot that has been sent to you is for your vote only, and is not to be filled out or given to anyone else. Someone soliciting your ballot from you is prohibited!! This is a violation that could result in a protest of this General Election. If the OLMS (Office of Labor Management Standards) is contacted they would have to investigate this issue, and if the election is protested we will have to start the election process all over from the beginning and it will cost our Local additional monies.
Thanks for your time and cooperation in this matter and please if you do not want to participate in the voting process, please discard your ballot and do not give it to someone else to fill out!!!
