Chairman of Material Logistics Specialist:

Headcount:

  • 486 MLS on base with 17 on LOA
  • Budgeted headcount 2025 is 469
  • Shops still with open vacancies; 022S (3), 031S (2), 034S (3)
  • Shop 032S is over by 5

Grievances:

  • 11 open grievances, 180 resolved this year
  • Over $15,000 has been paid out in 2025 for grievances to MLS

Welfare & Entertainment:

  • A meeting was held to finalize Trunk or Treat and also discuss our Adult party in November.

Cellphones:

  • Please watch your cellphone usage. Management has contacted me to discuss this issue with the people. They are starting to do Coach & Discussions.

Turnstiles:

  • We have had people terminated and put on Levels for being outside the gate. Please watch your times. There are cameras pointed at every turnstile.

32J’s:

  • If you get called in for a 32J make sure you have representation.  If you don’t we have no record of what the investigation was about and therefore, it makes it difficult to write a grievance if you are disciplined.

Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:

I went to the quarterly meeting in Dallas this week and every time I go to this meeting, I speak up for our facilities and GSE  group here in Tulsa when the company representatives are present, even though our direct leaders are here in Tulsa, I do this because I want ALL of our leaders to know the value of having a fully staffed FMG, GSE department on site 24 hours a day,  365 days a year. I also showcase the damage caused by contractors that have no obligations to our company other than a paycheck, with that said the biggest thing I got out of the companies presentation was that they are currently working on posting 3 system GSE TCC’s, the union and company have agreed on language that best reflects these positions, I will keep you updated on these positions.

We have several positions in our group here in Tulsa that will be posting soon. I will try and keep you updated as I find out.

Language in our CBA is my priority. I have been discussing the issues that are currently a problem with our local and international unions in an effort to change them.

  • Budgeted headcount 316
  • Current headcount 315
  • Headcount on LOA 7
  • Actual Headcount 308

As always, feel free to contact me anytime.

Tracy Hardin:

AERO:

The first GE90 Engine work that was performed by GE Tech Ops was supposed to be shadowed by our mechanics. A few of the Tech Crew Chiefs spent limited time observing, but other work made it difficult for others to be involved. The plan is to better schedule more involvement for the Tulsa mechanics going forward.

BENEFITS:

Flu shots are becoming available.
