Nominations for General Elections Continue

You have until May 17, 2022    (Online, & In Writing) by 3:30pm to make your nominations for the 2022-2025 Election term for Local 514 General Elections.

Nominations will be able to be made at any of the May membership meetings, online at twu514.org or in writing to the Union Office, 11945 East Pine Street, Tulsa Oklahoma 74116.

Elections will be held by a mailed ballot to each member, to the address that the TWU has on file. Please make sure that the address the TWU has on file is your current mailing address.

Grievances

The company has determined AAGAIN that they do not need to adhere to the current Grievance procedure and are returning the 1st step grievance to the grievant. We have No Language that allows this.

ARTICLE 33 – GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

Step 1

If the employee is not satisfied with the verbal decision of the employee’s supervisor, the matter, through the Union, must be reduced to writing on a standard  grievance form or electronic equivalent, and given to his supervisor or designee within three (3) days from the supervisor’s verbal decision. Upon receipt, the employee’s supervisor must state in writing his decision and return this form to the Union Representative within five (5) days from the date he receives the grievance.  The Union Representative then must forward this grievance form to the Local Grievance Committee.
