2023 Quarterly June Benefits Conference

TWU Local 514 had the privilege of hosting the 2023 Quarterly June Benefits Conference . The attendees from TWU Locals from around the system including Locals 501,505,507,510,512,513,548,567,568,591 and 592. The agenda included presentations on retirement by Mark Loeber, Added Benefits (STD,LTD, TermLife) by Union Benefits Planners, Lincoln and Enrollment Solution. American Airlines Benefits Department presented on Workers Compensation, Benefits Plans, Absent Return Center, Wellness and Fidelity 401 in person and Video Conference call. Special thanks to TWU Local 514 Officers, Executive Board and membership, we received several  compliments on our facility and hospitality.

    • one  new 737 lines has started , one more should start around August/September

    • June FLOC meetings have been moved to June 14th at 1:30 and 3: 30 due to the smokeoff.  All are welcome to join and participate.

We have 21 aircraft at our in-house Maintenance Base Stations and 22 aircraft at the HMP vendors this morning, June 9, 2023.

Currently working on headcount compliance for scope.

Attended the quarterly Base Maintenance Outsourcing meeting on June 7, 2023 at Headquarters. Will be reporting out at the membership meeting.
