Short Term Disability
The TWU Hartford Short Term Disability enrollment is always open, members who find themselves running low on sick hours, I would recommend that if a member is under 100 hours of sick hours they should have Short Term Disability. Please see an Eboard Officer for help on enrollment.
TWU514 – Working Women’s Committee HELP ALERT:
There is a story that D’Ann Johnson made us aware of this morning on 7/8/21. The Vista Shadow Mountain apartment residents were facing being displaced. The ‘new’ owners paid the water bill but there seems to be many issues going on with slum-lord conditions at these apartments. We wanted to do something to help the residents in some way. Those that want to donate any bathroom items, would be appreciated. Toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush (children’s size too)/toothpaste,feminine items, soap, lotion, razors…etc. If you know anyone that can donate sheetrock, please let us know so we can reach out to them…some apartments inside have no sheetrock in place and open wires are showing. Bring any and all donations to the Union Hall, please. Thank you. We will post a meeting date/time for a TUL WWC meeting as soon as possible.
In Solidarity,
Linda Dill
Chairwoman of MLS
Transfers
I’ve been getting a lot of questions concerning transfers and what union they will be associated with.
Below is an excerpt from The Association Bulletin Adopted April 7, 2020.
Dues, Membership and Preferential hires
“Persons who are members of either the TWU or IAM shall remain members of their respective union and will pay dues to that union wherever they may work or whenever or wherever they may transfer within Association covered work groups or CBAs.”

Stewards
Just a reminder to bring your contract books to the shop stewards meeting, write down and ask any questions from the floor and we will answer them,
Thanks,
Pat Kinnamon

The Passing of Brother Kenny Marshall
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kenneth G. Marshall (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away at the age of 53, on June 29, 2021.
Kenny had been with us here in Tulsa since 1992, He Started as a Cleaner and his last position Overhaul Support Mechanic in the Seat Shop.
Please keep the Marshall family in your thoughts and prayers.
