TWU needs you to take action TODAY by emailing your U.S. Representative and asking them to support the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act of 2015 (H.R. 3763) and oppose any amendment that would cut transit funding.

Although it’s not a perfect bill, this bipartisan compromise will improve our nation’s transit systems, roads and bridges. It includes language to help protect transit operators from assaults, promote safety, and create good-paying jobs in the transportation sector.
The best way to fix our nation’s crumbling infrastructure is for Congress to pass a long-term transit and highway funding bill that creates jobs by investing in safe and reliable transit services, and in rebuilding our bridges and highways.
