
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we have been informed by the FAA that they will be conducting an audit at our facility the week of August 11th, 2025. This audit will evaluate our memberships’ knowledge and competence in key areas, including technical data and procedures, safety management system (SMS), training and qualifications requirements, and employee safety and health protocols.

Technical Data & Procedures
- How do I access AA Technical Data?
- How do I confirm technical data is current and task-relevant?
- Are you using the tools in accordance with (IAW) their requirements?
- How do I verify parts and materials comply with Technical Data?
AA Safety & Health Compliance
- Can you explain the AA Safety Management System policy?
- Where do I find the Employee Safety & Health Manual (ESHM)?
- What is the Chemical Secondary Label Policy, and its importance?
- How do I comply with the AA Flammable Material Storage Policy?
- Demonstrate correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

During the audit, FAA representatives will evaluate our members’ knowledge and competence in these areas. We expect each of you to:
- Be fully competent in every task you perform
- Sign off on all work performed
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety protocols and technical data
- Explain the Safety Management System (SMS) policy clearly
