Tuesday we learned that AMR filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Now everyone has a thousand questions, and understandably so. To help get answers to your questions we have modified our website, www.twu514.org, to allow you to submit your questions directly to our International Legal Staff.
We are now going down a path that, in our 60- plus year history, we have never gone before. When we look at the rest of the industry, we see that employees’ pay, benefits, work rules and pensions are affected. What our future holds is uncertain at this point. The International TWU has bankruptcy attorneys at the court hearing on behalf of our active and retired workers and our families. All updated information received will be posted on our website.
