Landing Gear Shop Update:
-
- 18 Landing Gear ship sets were completed in 2019.
- 58 Landing Gear ship sets are scheduled for 2020.
- Tulsa Base currently overhauls both 737 and 777-200 gears, AA is looking into preparing for overhauling the 777-300 gears. Additional tooling will be needed before this can happen.
- A study performed in 2019 determined that the Tulsa Base is very competitive within the landing gear industry.
- We are asking AA Management to dedicate a machine with coolant to cut all Beryllium parts.
- There is an increased focus on turn times in the landing gear shop.
Overall, “GREAT JOB” goes to the Tulsa Base Landing Gear Shop,
