I realize that many of you may not know Local 555’s President Greg Puriski, or that you may not work closely with the ATD or its staff. But I know that you can all relate to wanting to provide a happy, plentiful holiday for your families and loved ones. That’s why we all do this work every day: to help our members get a decent shot at a better life. It’s moments like this that define what union membership is all about, and I hope we can all come together for the collective benefit of some of our own people who really need us this holiday season.
