Nominations will be accepted from the floor on May 24th, 2010 at the combined Shop Steward/Membership meetings. Meeting times are as follows; 7:15am, 11:45am, 3:45pm and 11:30pm.
Candidates running for office will have until 4:00pm on May 28th, 2010 to decline nomination or make any corrections to their name on the ballot.
Candidates can meet with the Election committee and Scott Boswell (Representative for American Arbitration Association), May 27th 2010 to answer any questions they may have. Meeting times are 7:00am, 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm. The Election Committee will be drawing for name placement on the ballot after 4:00pm on May 28th, 2010. Reilly Echols Printing Inc. will be doing the printing, stuffing and mailing of all ballots. Ballots will be mailed to last known address of all members on June 15, 2010. If you don’t receive a ballot by June 30th, 2010, please contact Scott Boswell at 1-800-529-5218, 8:00am – 4:00pm Central Standard Time.
Ballots must be returned to the Post Office Box by 9:00am on July 14, 2010. At that time the Election Committee and Mr. Boswell will pick ballots up. The Post Office Box is located at 5313 E. Independence, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74115. We will return to the TWU Union Hall at 11929 E. Pine St. for the tally of the ballots. American Arbitration Association will be handling all the processes for the counting of ballots. The Election Committee should have the results on July 14th, 2010. There will be a complete set of rules at May’s Shop Steward/Membership meetings. Please attend the meetings and feel free to ask any questions you might have.
