On the Topic of Probation and the 180 days vs. the 90 Work days in the current agreement.
Article 10 States: New employees shall be regarded as probationary employees for the first ninety (90) work days of their employment,
This is the way we will handle the probation period going forward.
So If you hired in before or after the March 30, 2020 JCBA you can calculate your “Work Days” and see if you have completed the 90 work day requirement. Also, If you are AMT the A-25 test is no longer a requirement.
I have confirmed with the company and the International about how probation will be handled.
” So if you have completed 90 working days you are considered off probation.”
Stay Safe,
