PDF M&R Mediation Update Your TWU Maintenance and Related Negotiating Committee met in Kansas City, Missouri on July 13th thru the 17th. Your TWU M&R Committee was expecting a response to our June 8, 2009 comprehensive proposal- the Management Committee did not provide a response.
July 9, 2009 Brothers and Sisters, As a result of several incidents regarding our business relationship, including the perception that there is a need to redefine the collaborative efforts of Local 514 and American Airlines, the Executive Board elected to assess our current participation in this process.
Mediator: Jack Kane Technical Specialist Negotiating Committee: Howard McKinney, Gary Moffitt, and Don Videtich AA Negotiating Committee: Jim Weel and Bob Dubreuil. Final disposition and agreement on all outstanding Letters of Agreement, Letters of Understanding and Letters of Memorandum was reached. This latest round of Negotiations with American Airlines was held in Kansas City, MO this week. Our first session with NMB Mediator Jack Kane at the Negotiating Table netted some positive results as the two parties were able to come to a Tentative Agreement on 4 Articles.
